The Istituto di Skriptura is dedicated to fostering the intellectual exploration and preservation of classical and sacred knowledge from diverse cultures, spanning Greek, Latin, Arabic, and other significant traditions. By reprinting rare texts with scholarly commentaries, the institute aims to revitalize and reinterpret the works of seminal thinkers such as Plato, Aristotle, Avicenna, and Descartes, bridging the past with contemporary insights. The foundation prioritizes the development of a new language for communication, based on a synthesis of French, Latin, Greek, Arabic, English, and Persian, to foster a deeper understanding of intellectual and cultural exchange.
Through its prestigious archives and libraries, the Istituto houses invaluable collections of first editions, manuscripts, and microfilms that span from the Renaissance period to modern times. These materials are curated to provide both scholarly and artistic contributions, especially focusing on the legacy of the Mediterranean and Islamic intellectual traditions. A key goal is to contribute to the creation of a comprehensive conceptual lexicon that will enable new forms of communication and higher intelligence.
In addition to preserving and publishing rare works, the institute actively organizes exhibitions, conferences, and artistic collaborations to stimulate new forms of thinking and understanding.
